Spotless, tidy room complete with comfort bed, fresh towels and balconies. The staff are very helpful as well as the owner. Nothing too much trouble and I would happily return.

The hotel is run by a very friendly family.comfortable atmosfere.we were shown to the room and we could choose from two rooms the one we liked more.hotel is spotlessly clean and designed in an original way.nice that there was a small balcony.wide screen tv.Very nice friendly service
The hotel is located in the centre of machico so there is no sense of privacy.from the balcony you can see the rooms of another hotel.breakfast very standard and limited choice- every day the same food

Everything - The staff were so friendly & helpful, the high quality of furnishing and fittings, the location near the sea and the balconies, the excellent restaurant - all at very reasonable prices. Our favourite of 6 hotels we stayed in on Madeira
Nothing - we loved everything

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Machico, making it easy to reach the bus stop and explore the area. The rooms are equipped with essential amenities and offer a stunning view from the small balcony. The wifi is fast and reliable, making it easy to keep in touch with friends and family back home. The breakfast spread includes fresh buns and is included in the price of the stay.
All was satisfactory.

We were welcomed like honored repeat guests & made to feel at home in this very new & clean, well-located hotel of modern but not stark design. The staff & owners were extremely helpful, polite, and friendly. Free wlan on ground floor; and we were lent a LAN cable to use our notebook in our room. It was very comfortable, with no sound from the corridor & very little from the street; (a vase with fresh flower was a nice touch). The hotel restaurant & café served delicious cake & very good coffee; we regret we never had dinner there. Easy to get to and away from, the hotel is within a stone's throw of the beachfront, several restaurants, & shops, and driving your car to the free parking along the port and then walking back to the hotel takes 10 min max. The breakfast buffet is perfectly adequate; extras (e.g. eggs) are available. We found this hotel an excellent base for hiking and driving to various points and truly ideal as a first and last stop on our way to & from the airport (10 min from front door to rental-car park). Its gift shop carries English & other foreign-language papers & magazines, and books about the island; none of the 5 other Madeira hotels we stayed at did.
There is a disco across the street that some other users of this site have complained about. Apparently only open on weekends, it was not a bother to us on the Fri night we were in Machico (but we were there off season).

Could not fault the hotel, staff or location - receptionists where incredibly helpful (beyond the normal call of duty) would definitely stay again. Buffet breakfast was good and nothing too much trouble e.g. setting us a table outside, when usually breakfast is served inside (but who wants to miss a lovely morning?)
It would have been nice to have a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities - but this would not stop us staying again

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. The location was perfect, being very close to the airport, the ocean, and the beach. Additionally, the hotel staff was very friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained.
Can’t fault anything about it.

Very clean and modern small hotel with prefect service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Perfect location very close to the airport and at the same time 2 min walk from the beach. The restautant was the best we tried in Madeira.

Friendly atmosphere helpful staff and hands on proprietors.Location fine but parking could be an issue in high season.Close to airport.Exellent continental breakfast, cooked breakfast also available at extra cost.
The carpet in room needed a clean,We also booked two morning calls, both were forgotten,a disaster if catching a flight.Suggest you take an alarmclock.

Really nice designed new hotel with an excellent location in the old city center of Machico. The hotels restaurant offers nice dishes but you also can find local places to go out eating in 5 minutes walking. If you dont want to stay in busy Funchal this city and hotelis a very good choice.
